Detect your pregnancy early with the first response pregnancy test

Pregnancy carries a lot of symptoms with it which can’t always be precisely described because they simply aren’t the same for everyone. These highly depend on emotional stage as well as general physique and can vary a lot. However, there is one part which is equal for every woman, which is hormone excretion which happens when pregnancy becomes real. This hormone is known as hCG and is used as a trigger for the first response pregnancy test, one of the most popular and reliable pregnancy tests in the market today. With its First Response technology, it’s also one of the most efficient means to use if you’re looking for early pregnancy detection, which is possible to happen 6 days before you miss your next period due to pregnancy.

Using the first response test

Since this pregnancy test is really sensitive, you don’t need to use it with your first morning urination and can be used throughout the day. It’s capable of detecting pregnancy about 6 days before you miss your period. If you are focused on discovering your pregnancy as early as possible, it might be best if you do stick with the morning urination for testing as it contains the highest concentration of pregnancy hormone.

It is important to take some precautions with the test though, as you are not supposed to use it after its expiration date which can be checked on the side of the box. Also, store the test in a dry place where the temperature won’t exceed 30°C (86°F).

Once you decide that it’s time to use the pregnancy test, you should remove it from its foil and take off the cap. There is a specific thumb grip area where you’re supposed to hold it while you’re holding the test under a constant stream of urine. It should take about 5 seconds for the test to successfully detect hCG hormone in your urine stream. If this is too much trouble for you, you can collect your urine in a glass and submerge the pregnancy test into it, holding it for about 5 seconds. Keep your eyes on the result window of the test where you should see a pink stripe climbing its way up, indicating that the test is indeed working. It takes about 3 minutes for the hormone to be detected so you should wait it out patiently.

Understanding the results

With the first response technology, result showing has been simplified. There are two results that the test can provide you with – you will either be pregnant or not. If you’re not pregnant there will be a single pink line in the result window, and if you are pregnant and your hCG hormone levels are high you will see two pink lines one above the other. If this is the case, make sure to visit your doctor and confirm your pregnancy with a blood test, as this is a normal procedure to take, making sure that you are indeed pregnant and everything is in order.
